My goal is to use this forum to share encouragement and inspiration for healthier eating through garden harvest and cooking from scratch more non-processed foods and for treating your family, friends, neighbors, strangers, animals and the earth with kindness.
Kindness is essential in our daily lives.
I will share weekly a new post with a message of how powerful kindness really can be.
This is the first year I purchased seeds by mail order for sowing indoors. Since I have always bought the majority of my plants from a local nursery already growing in small pots all I had to do was transplant them in the soil of my home garden. This year my plans include starting the tomatoes, bell peppers, sunflowers, summer squash, zucchini and marigolds in individual peat pots for transplanting outdoors at the end of May after the weather warms the ground. I'll share photos of the progress in hopes that this effort will be successful and possibly inspire someone else to do the same. Any advice from all you experienced indoor growers is more than welcome.
